With the Présence, Selmer has produced an absolutely impressive clarinet that is a serious competitor for the Buffet Crampon RC and R13, as well as for Yamahas CSVR and SEVR clarinets. Instead of making a cheaper version of her top models (Signature, Récital and Privilège), Selmer chose to design an entirely new instrument.
