Early - Period - Historical - Vintage clarinet in D (Re). This D Clarinet is a reimagining of a George Miller clarinet from 1770, but scaled to the key of D. This Clarinet is pitched in the modern tuning of A=440. It has a much brighter sound, which made it refer to as a Mock trumpet as well, and was used like a trumpet in pieces.
It has 8 finger holes and 5 brass keys (register, throat A, Ab/Eb, F#/C#, and E/B) for any music by Mozart, Beethoven, the Stamitz family and other composers of the 18th Century. The body is made of Indian Cocobolo wood with imitation Ivory rings. Comes with 2 barrel to play A=440hz and A=442hz, case, extra set of pads, and accessories.
