Leblanc Bliss 310S Intermediate Bb Clarinet (new instrument). This is a brand-new instrument in its original packaging. We have broken the factory seal in order to take photos, and so that it can be tested and prepared for sale by our woodwind technician. The Leblanc Bliss 310S is an intermediate-level clarinet, made from composite material.

Leblanc designed this clarinet with a plastic body (rather than wood) in order to improve the durability of the instrument and avoid the risks of swelling and cracking which every wooden clarinet carries. In addition, the tonal quality of composite is noticeably distinct from wood: the clarinet is significantly more free-blowing than wooden alternatives of similar quality, which appeals strongly to certain players. JB8190 The instrument is supplied in its Leblanc plastic hard case, with the original accessories (Shoulder strap for the case, one Vandoren 2.5 reed, cork grease, reed holder, cleaning cloth). The mouthpiece is a hard rubber (ebonite) Leblanc Cadenza, with metal cap and ligature.

This is a brand-new clarinet. It has been fully tested and prepared for sale by our woodwind technician. The mechanical condition is excellent. The keywork is strong, with minimal lateral movement, and it has been properly regulated to ensure the whole clarinet seals fully.

The pads are brand-new and in perfect condition. The playing experience is excellent, and the clarinet produces a solid tone. The cosmetic condition is excellent: This is a brand-new instrument, and the cosmetic condition is exactly as it was from the factory.

It was founded by Trevor Austin (father of Paul) who was previously a euphonium player in the Horse Guards (and played on horseback at the Queen Elizabeth II's coronation in 1953). Following long service in the Salvation Army as a player and conductor, his reputation led to requests to supply instruments around the UK and overseas. Rosehill is now led by Trevor's son Paul.

The company was awarded a UK government contract in 1999, and since then has been an approved supplier of musical instruments to Her Majesty's military bands. We also repair, refurbish and service all brass band and military band instruments at our workshops in Beaconsfield. As well as drawing customers from all over the UK, we also supply many instruments to bands and players overseas.
